Meal Planning Software with Middle Eastern and Lebanese Foods

DietBoard is meal planning software for dietitians that includes Lebanese and Middle Eastern foods alongside the USDA database, so you can build plans around the foods your clients actually eat.

Built for dietitians in Lebanon, the Gulf, North Africa, and anywhere the standard food databases stop short of what is on the table.

Free forever on Starter for up to 10 active clients. No credit card required.

Regional foods, in the same search

DietBoard includes Lebanese and regional Middle Eastern foods in the same searchable database as USDA items.

You search once and pick the food — the macros land with the meal, so there is no separate lookup and no manual macro entry. Anything missing, you add as a custom food, and it stays available for every plan you build afterwards.

  • Lebanese and regional items alongside the full USDA database
  • Macros attach to the meal as soon as you add the food
  • Add your own custom foods for dishes specific to your practice

Exchange-list planning for clinical work

DietBoard includes an exchange-based planning mode built on a curated exchange registry of roughly 274 foods, each with its per-serving portion.

This is the mode for diabetes and other clinical plans where you think in servings rather than grams. It layers on top of the plan type you already picked, and your client can swap foods freely inside an exchange group without breaking the plan's macro delivery.

  • Roughly 274 foods with defined per-serving portions
  • Consistent macro delivery across every meal option
  • Clients swap within a group instead of asking you to rebuild

Plans written in Arabic, rendered right-to-left

Meal names, dish names, and notes can be typed in Arabic, and they render right-to-left in the published plan and the PDF.

Your client reads the plan in the language they speak. DietBoard's own interface is in English — what is Arabic is the content you write. Bulk client import also handles Arabic-encoded CSV and Excel files, so moving an existing practice in does not mangle your client names.

  • Arabic meal, dish, and note text in the published plan and PDF
  • Correct right-to-left rendering for the client-facing output
  • Bulk client import accepts Arabic-encoded CSV and Excel files

Delivery that fits how clients actually communicate

Finished plans go out as a branded share link, a printable PDF, or straight to WhatsApp.

There is nothing for your client to install and no account for them to create. They open a link in whatever browser they already use, or you send the plan to the number on their profile. Access to a shared link can be revoked whenever you need to.

  • Send to WhatsApp using the number on the client profile
  • Branded share link or printable PDF, your choice
  • No client app, no client login, revoke access anytime

What DietBoard does not do

The clearest way to know whether DietBoard fits your practice is to know where it stops.

  • There is no client mobile app and no client login portal. Plans reach your client as a share link or a PDF.
  • The interface is in English. Plan content — meals, dishes, and notes — can be written in Arabic.
  • The plan builder is desktop-optimized. Plans are best built on a laptop; clients view them on any device.
  • DietBoard does not auto-generate a finished meal plan for you. You build the plan, with food search, templates, and exchanges doing the repetitive work.
  • DietBoard does not handle telehealth, video calls, or insurance billing.
